You are making great progress on August Fairy. I seem to keep ripping out on this one. You are inspiring me to keep going. LOVE the butterfly in her hand. That is so sweet.

I just LOVE what you did with her arm and the little butterfly hovering above her open palm! Love it more than the wand.

I want to thank everyone who has commented for your encouragement on this piece.

Also I want to thank kittyperfection for your enthusiasm in your comment. It really is appreciated. This one had me stumped for a little while because I didn't like so much black (for one reason is you can really see the spaces in between the stitches quite clearly with black (on 28 count) unless you stitch with 4 strands which is how I am stitching the black in the wings and it is tedious). I struggled and tried a few different things that I spent a lot of time on before I came up with the blue conversion for the dress. I frogged the top and the belt, redid the top and the belt and the dress down to the bottom of page 1 all in one day and I was really really hoping you all were going to love it.

Also to kittyperfection: I couldn't find a place to comment on your blog but the stitching you are doing is phenomenal; what I stitch doesn't even come close to the amazing talent you posess.

Tracey, you are truly a gifted stitcher.....and, a fassssst one too! I want to get this pattern but, I have so many patterns all kitted up and waiting, I am going to have to try NOT to buy this one for awhile. In the mean time, I can keep looking at how beautiful yours is step by step. I also want to thank you for your tutorial on scroll rods. I have only used QSnaps but I needed scroll rods for some projects. I am so pleased that you took time to write out such a step by step tutorial. You sure helped me!
